Forthcoming from Library of Horror Press
___
Angela still keeps in touch with the friends she made during her University years. Now in their mid-twenties, Angela’s circle of compatriots have all transitioned into the mundane world of offices by day and tiny apartments by night. Maddie heads a cell phone application startup, Amanda is a librarian and Lucy works a dead-end clerical job that she hates. When Maddie lands a lucrative software contract with a Japanese company, through another college friend and coworker named Kyoko, the group gets together to celebrate at an old, family-run teahouse.
Behind the teahouse’s transparent shoji walls, compulsion spreads and suicide becomes contagious.
As Angela investigates, and as her remaining friends try to make sense out of the senseless, the teahouse where they shared their final meal together unveils its secrets one by one and threatens to claim more victims.
